Oceans Day Canada is a non-profit national organization dedicated to "improving the state of the environment by educating, motivating and helping individual Canadians to take positive environmental action including reducing their use of water and toxic chemicals, as well as  green house gas emissions."


We will accomplish this by undertaking outreach and leadership development programs at the school level; by building and maintaining a website dedicated to providing easily accessible conservation knowledge; by seeking corporate sponsorship of a scholarship program; encouraging existing Environmental Non-Government Organisations to co-operate in establishing annual Oceans Day celebration events at the community level; and ensuring Canadian Media continue to make Canadians aware of Oceans Day each year.
