In past years Quebec has hosted many events including schools, libraries, churches, museums and community groups. Please check with your local event calendars and check back with this page for updates.


Please Note: we do not promote events held at zoos or aquariums where healthy animals are held captive for financial gain, nor do we accept donations from these businesses. We do promote events held by rescue and release centers.

Subaquatic Society of Canada

The Subaquatic Society of Canada (SSC), an association of divers, conduct shoreline clean ups coast to coast. Please check with your national and local chapter for details. Thank you to all SSC member for their dedication to preserving waterways!

Please check your local Library and check back here for details of events planned for this year, as libraries in Quebec have hosted events in the previous years and have communicated that they are planning events for this year to celebrate World Oceans Day. collaboration with the City of Mont Joli and the Mont-Joli office of the

Canadian Hydrographic Service, attend the opening of a summer exhibit

on what lies behind hydrography and cartography, at the Halte
